WiFi AP Network interfaces RX errors

Hi.

I checked a few our APs (e-series) and on every one of them we get RX errors on Ethernet interface and also on VLAN interface. It seems strange to me that this is on all of our APs. Also on the ones where the cabling is new and we know it is good. It just seems too strange for me. Anyone else noticed this?

Kind regards

I never went for it but now that you mentioned it I checked and i have the same situation as you with the e50X series access points (3.11.4.1-r3).
All cables are tested before connecting the access points and they were ok (shielded, cat 5e).

Strange

There could be many reasons. One common reason is due to invalid multicast packets received at AP.

Could you please share output of "service show netstat’.

Here:

Hi,

I do not see any Queues being filled up. Most probably, AP resource such as CPU, buffer usage is ruled out.

Could you please message packet capture to my ID when DROP counter increases.

Will diagnose the capture, and will let you know the updates.

Hi.

Counters on VLAN interface has already increased. It is constantly increasing per a few packets.

Will send you capture via PM.

Kind regards
