WiFi networking training for refugees in Greece.

Some of you might have already seen some of the webinars  or read articles on how Disaster Tech Lab, with support from Cambium Networks, has been working in the refugee camps across Greece building wifi networks in order to provide WiFi internet access to the refugees as well as the many NGO's working there.

To date we've worked in 18 camps across the country.,

We're now moving on to the next phase and as part of this we are setting up a training course to teach refugees (with a background in IT) WiFi networking skills. The first course will take place in late April in the Oinofyta refugee camp Nprth-East of Athens.

To make this all happen we're looking for a few volunteer trainers.

Requirements are that you have previousn experience running training courses, specifically with Cambium products.

You also need to have positive mindset and be able to improvise and adapt.

Disaster Tech Lab will provide accommodation and transport and project management but you will have a rellatively free hand on how to run the course.

For more details see our website or email us on: contact@disastertechlab.org

Thank you, Evert Bopp.
