WLAN Monitoring feature

Hi @all,

i read about the wlan monitoring feature

http://community.cambiumnetworks.com/t5/cnPilot-E-Series-Enterprise-APs/WLAN-Up-Down-depending-on-reachability-of-a-critical-network/m-p/59181

but i've a little question.
Which (virtual-) Network is used for pinging? The configured VLAN in the WLAN configuration or the management network?

Kind regards,

Sven

The ping packets are send out using standard routing rules, not bound to any particular vlan or interface.

So if you ping that destination from the APs CLI or troublshooting page in the GUI, whatever path those packets take, will be the path taken here also.

Hi firefly,

thanks for your answer.

Kind regards,
