Lightning? or what? This radio didn’t go down, or fry, but a Trangolink45 did on that was mounted on the same pole.
Going by the black char I would say it got zapped.
I had one strike that hit an omni antenna on one of my sites - unbelievably it only melted a small section in the corner of the top of the antenna (this was an MTI omni at 900MHz, h-pol) and did no major damage to any of my equipment other than they no longer receive sync on the power port. This same strike took out a motor and two scales on the same leg.
