180 degrees Sectoral Antenna

Hey guys,

I got some 5750s I wanted to be converted to Sectoral antennas, to save some Frequency.

Whats the best antenna you can recommend that will best help for it?

Probably the best would be something from MTi. I have their 120* 900 antennas and they are solid. I can only assume that the quality is throughout the entire line of products.


I have been less satisfied with Maxrad/PCTel lately.


Tessco has a new line of products out by Terra-Wave that seem promising. I am preparing to order 4 of the 90* sectors in the 5GHz band to convert a PoP to use less frequencies.


Last pick would be Superpass. Decent antenna, but the construction quality is hit and miss. Their mounting system gets an “F-” in my book too. Horrible.

I used sectorial 120° antennas from Stella Doradus and am very satisfied.
They have many models and price was about 180 EUR, but angle is ranging from 30 to 120. Never seen 180° on 5 Ghz.

It looks like MTI does not make a 180* but they do make a 120*

Connectorized radios can be done by Doubleradius or any other vendor offering the service.

We use lastmilegear.com for this.

They can convert and put it in a hardened enclosure with sector antenna, lots of selections AND they are certified.

I have an MTI 180 Hpol deployed for a few years and it works wonderfully,
