2020 has been an incredible year of challenge, perseverance, and success in the fixed wireless industry. One tradition WISPA wanted to make sure was not forgotten is our annual awards. While a formal in-person awards ceremony wasn’t possible this year, we still want to honor those who have contributed above and beyond to our shared success in 2020.
Please cast your vote for these awards at Survey Monkey by Monday, February 15th. Ballots will be tallied, with nominees selected for a vote. The voting will take place shortly after with the awards ceremony presentation virtually in March.
This year, you can nominate service providers and vendors for:
Operator of the Year - Awarded to the company that has excelled in the business of wireless broadband in 2020. Amarillo Wireless was the 2019 Operator of the Year and is not eligible for 2020.
Manufacturer of the Year - Awarded to the vendor member manufacturer of products for the fixed wireless industry that has had the greatest significant positive impact on the businesses of WISPA Principal Members in 2020.
Product of the Year – Awarded to the vendor member manufacturer whose new or substantially improved product in 2020 has had the greatest positive impact on the businesses of WISPA Principal Members.
Service of the Year – Awarded to the vendor member who has developed a new or substantially modified service in 2020, which has had the greatest positive impact on the businesses of WISPA Principal Members.
Distributor of the Year – Awarded to the vendor member distributor whose efforts have made the greatest positive impact on the businesses of WISPA Principal Members in 2020.
And back for 2020…
Triumph Award – Awarded to principle or vendor members who have overcome overwhelming challenges in 2020. Fixed wireless service providers and vendor members alike have overcome unimaginable odds in 2020. Those incredible challenges were not just a once in a century pandemic but natural disasters like hurricanes, wildfires, and flooding. This year, WISPA will be awarding multiple members the Triumph award to celebrate our shared success in 2020.
