I’ve had to prepare a few drop cables using Cambium WB3176 / WB3175 (Superior Essex BBDGe) cables. As per the PTP manual, it has specific measurements it needs to be stripped and crimped at.
To make life easy, I’ve prepared a ruler. It has two functions:
- Mark cables so the various layers of insulation can be removed to match the 25mm/42mm measurements as per a PTP radio
- Check an assembled connector meets the specs
