What is the story behind 4.4.1 and the Mac issue? I notice previous firmware versions have been pulled. Out of curiosity, what is the issue?

We are rolling out new software 4.4.2 shortly, which resolves a compatibility issue identified with MAC series recently launched. Users with Cambium R-series devices having MAC starting with 00:04:56:xx:xx:xx have no problem whatsoever.
However for user who have received new Cambium R-series devices where MAC address starts with 58:c1:7a:xx:xx:xx or bc:e6:7c:xx:xx:xx MUST NOT downgrade there devices with older software.
