4 WATTS (36 dBm) POWER AVAILABLE FOR cnReach N500 RADIOS RUNNING AT 900 MHz FREQUENCY for MAS band
All new cnReach (900 MHz MAS band) N500 radios shipped after March 2018 will have the capability of having the maximum power transmission available to reach 4 Watts = 36dBm.
For legacy cnReach 900 MHz N500 radios that the GUI only allows configuration of up to 3 Watt transmission power configuration for MAS band, patch “xw.set-900-4W_patch” should be applied to the OS update to support 4 Watt transmission power. No hardware change is required. This patch works with both 5.2.15 and 5.2.16 software releases.
