450i AP AUX port cap not included

We have a number of 3 GHz 450i APs in stock and every time we open one, there is a gland for the POE port but no cap on the AUX port. I believe that is supposed to be preinstalled, and if you want to actually use the AUX port, then you need to buy extra glands. But there has always been a black plastic cap with a slot for a screwdriver screwed in to cover that port. I thought we just got one unit that someone forgot, but they all seem to be that way.

Anyone have a solution? If necessary, where can I buy a bag of these? If someone at the factory forgot to include these, ideally Cambium should offer to mail us a few.

Or at least give them a P/N and let distributors sell them like they do with the glands. Or give us a source like Mouser or RS or Digikey where we can buy a generic version.

I don’t really want to put an expensive metal gland in there with a piece of cable to fill the hole.

Ken - We can send you some. Please send me an email directly, and we’ll get you sorted out. You are correct that the black plastic cap should be there, installed at the factory. This is a factory issue that was addressed already.

If anyone else also has this issue, please open a support ticket and we will get the caps to you as soon as possible.
