450M 3GHz EIRP

What should the maximum EIRP be for a 3GHz 450M with a 20MHz channel? I believe I was requesting and receiving 48 dBm at one point, but then it had been requesting 48 and receiving a grant for 45. Was the 48 just a fluke?

48 should be the maximum for a 3G 450m. We see reductions in EIRP after the SAS makes a change, which generally means we are left with finding a cleaner channel to operate on so we can get back to 48. 3G 450i max EIRP is 42

Thanks for the reply.
So, I guess I’m confused about the way the SAS manages the spectrum. I was under the impression that the spectrum between 3650-3700 was GA and therefore shouldn’t have this type of restriction. This is evidently not the case, so what is the criteria for GA spectrum that the SAS is enforcing?

Have you tried increasing the TX power value to the maximum 48dBm EIRP before the radio has been issued the grant? You can do this by rebooting the radio and after it starts up and can get into the gui, very quickly going and increasing the TX power before the radio has reached out to the SAS.

You can also sometimes see why your power was nerfed by checking the AP under Logs → CBRS Log.
