Wondering if/when the 450v sm 4x4 or 2x2 radios will be able set for ptp?
I’m curious about this as well. I’ve heard a PTP SKU mentioned in webinars. I really hope Cambium hasn’t decided to go the route of selling a PTP-only radio variant or some sort of paid feature key for PTP use. If that ends up being the case I can’t see many being purchased.
PtP mode for 450v will be included in the firmware after R24.2 is released. I’m not sure if it will be a licensed feature or not. R24.2 is in private beta… so the PtP feature will probably be coming some time in Q1 2025.

I hope the same. I can’t see adding in licensed features being a good route for this product. I know up in my neck of the woods, at least 90-95% of our wireless customer base are in BEAD project areas. Buying new 450m’s (If they’re even available still in 3-5 years) won’t be realistic. So a slightly cheaper AP could make sense. But they would likely be short term, so paying for extra licenses would be a no go in my opinion.
