Ok.
I have attempted to upgrade only 2 AP’s (900Mhz) to 7.2.9.
I switched them both to Hardware Scheduling.
And guess what.
I have MORE Re-Reg’s then before !. !
Please help. Maybe i’m doing something wrong!!!
We upgraded from 6.1, to 7.0 to 7.1.4 to 7.2.9…
I made sure everything is right. There is only 1 SM per AP. That’s it.
RSSI is over 1600 on both, and JITTER is 4 or below on both SM’s.
Guys, check out these stats…
Session Count: 92, Reg Count 42, Re-Reg Count 50
RSSI (Avg/Last): 1600/1603 Jitter (Avg/Last): 4/3 Power Level (Avg/Last): -68/-52
Please post your FPGA version, a snapshot of the AP eval data page, and a snapshot of the sessions page.

Thanks for your help guys!
Using CNUT 1.1 you have the ability to gather customer support information under the tools menu. Can you select the AP’s and associated SM’s and then gather the support log? It will create a zip file for you, then email it to customer support. Ask that they forward it to the forum admin and I will look at it. (I know that people hate the following statement but here I go)Every beta user showed their re-reg’s halt so you are the first to report that you are still seeing re-regs. :?
This is very frustrating. Here is what we are seeing on an AP and 3 SMs that we just upgraded to the 7.2 firmware. The AP has only been running for 5 mintues!

Can you post the status screen of the AP and the SM? Also, send in the CNUT customer support log to support (the email is in my signature) Put in the email that you need it send to the forum admin, I already told them that it is coming.
Were either of you seeing re-regs in SWS? Also, is there anything else on the towers which you are using? If you can get a spectrum analysis from the AP that would be helpful. Let it run for about 5-10 minutes and make sure no other AP’s in the same band are on during this time.
I will get the CNUT files and send them to Support. Below are the status pages. We will run the spectrum analysis and see what it says - last time we ran it we selected the best frequency. Haven’t seen this in SWS mode.
Here is the status page from the SM:

Canopy_Support (or anyone else):
Have you heard of anybody else having these same or similar problems through phone tech support or elsewhere? I’ve yet to upgrade my live system to 7.2, though I will setup a test network this weekend to see how it fairs… If there have been more reports of these problems I’d rather hold off upgrading all my SMs instead of having to back down a version, or change back to SW mode again…
Thanks!
