Unfortunately, it seems that the 8.2 + NAT problem persists.
I upgraded to 8.2.1 and in few hours the SM crashed twice.
This is my log:

Meh. Iām beginning to think Iāll just abandon 8.2.x on anything but APs. 8.1.5.1 never gave me any troubles.
if ur going to use any 8.X use 8.2.1 working pretty good for me its been almost 3 days
8.2 was a disaster for us. We ran 8.1.5.1 on many access points and SMs for almost the entirety of its release with no troubles. Iāll be going back to that until I know for sure that 8.2.1 is safe.

Same to me. If you use SM with NAT enabled you should stay to 8.1.5.1
I just TRASHED my 2.4 system (which has worked great for years) by upgrading it to version 8.2. My customers are pissed and having nothing but problems since. I think I will have to take the system to an earlier version as well!
