Does anyone have a recommendation for software which would provide bandwidth analysis statistics and/or throughput measurements in real world conditions?
I need to test some 802.11/Mesh Networks (some employ Canopy PTP hops) to see what type of load they are under currently, and what they may be under if additional applications are placed on the WLAN.
I currently use IXIA’s QCheck freeware, but the only thing I do not like about it is that it requires the software to be installed on (2) computers, each connected to the WLAN. I noticed that IXIA makes quite a bit of software, however some of the features of the various flavors and implementations are quite confusing.
Anyone out there using anything? Hardware or software based? Free or pay? I am open to any and all suggestions.
