802.1x Supplicant

Hi.
Do you have in a road map supporting 802.1x supplicant on E series (APs registering to switch with 802.1x as client)?

We have considered this, but it is not planned for a near-term software release.

Could you please share some more information of how you use this: what RADIUS server and EAP method do you use for this? Are you planning certificate based (EAP-TLS) or just username/passwrd? Is the AP pre-configured with a username/password from its GUI/CLI, or do you expect it to use some default (mac and serial?)?

thanks.

Our main goal is to prevent guests, in hotel rooms, to disconnect AP and connect their PC in that cable - in case we use E430H on desk stand. We would need something standardized to work with 3rd party switches, in case we can't implement cnMatrixes...

Zero touch deployment is a must - scaning serial number to enter it to cnMaestro is not a problem.
How does it work with cnMatrix switches, via MAC and AP name?
