A couple of questions to check myself...

First question, when doing a Link Capacity Test, whether it is performed from the AP of performed from the SM, a poor Downlink means the SM is having trouble hearing the AP. Right?

Second, I have a customer with an increasing Session Count and Registration count but no Re-Registrations.
Signal level is -66, Jitter of 2 or 3 and in 1x only mode.

They keep dropping out. Why don’t I see Re-Registrations?

Thanks,

Roy

Answer to first question is yes. If downlink is poor than it cannot see ap very well or there is intereference on the sm side.

Answer to second question is that the SM has to drop for more than 5 min, for it to be considered a new registration rather than a re-reg.

Thanks Again.
