Bit of a newby question but I am stuck none the less. We have our AP and SM configured, but I can't seem to figure out how to access the SM while at the custoemrs place. We have a management Vlan that we use for all our other epmp SM's but 450i seems to be much different. Does anyone know where I can find some documentation regarding the best practice for accessing the 450i (900mhz) SM? Thanks all.
Your problem is that as soon as the SM registers, the mgmt and default port VIDs are different. Typically, we will leave the default port VID the same as the mgmt VID until the installation is complete and we are ready to test the customer network. Change the default port VID and reboot, done.
