Advantage APs Weak??

HI All,

I bought my first set of Advantage AP modules in 5.2GHz.

Compared to the original modules, it seems that these units don’t have
the same output power of the non-advantage APs.

At 2-miles, perfect LOS, I used to get somewhere in the -50s dbm and
now I am lucky if I can get into the low -70s dbm.

What gives?

I have similar problem with Advantage AP modules in 5.7Ghz. After replacing them with non-advantage AP, SM modules re-register and have very weak signal.

I too have this same problem, after calling motorola they state to only look at the power level and not the rssi
