Allowing NAT traversal with NAT Helper for SIP

A common issue with SIP control messaging is traversal through a NAT-enabled network node.

To allow dynamic port mappings for SIP, RTP, and RTCP protocols, consider setting the SM parameter NAT Helper for SIP to Enabled:

Enabled: When enabled, the SM in NAT mode replaces the Source IP within the SIP request to the Wireless IP of the SM.

Please note that this translation is often times handled by the SIP server so this option may not always be needed.

Disabled: When disabled, the SM does not perform any deep packet manipulation on the SIP request packet from a SIP Client.
