I am looking to setup a Cyclone AP to cover three SM’s however the Cyclone AP only has a radius of 3 miles (6 mile diameter) and the points I am trying to connect are about 20 miles apart. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks.
2.4 GHz SM’s with reflectors are rated for typical distances of 15 miles. Canopy does offer the 900 Mhz radio for reaching LOS customers up to 40 miles away.
The Cyclone 5.7-360 has a 12 mile radius or 24 mile diameter when you use the reflector dish on the SM’s.
