AP-SM Link Breaks after 15/20 minutes

We have an AP with CMM & an 2 SM on this AP.

One of the SM remains connected & pings consistantly for 15/20 minutes & then loses connectiviry.

we r on 7.2.9

in AP Eval Data we r finding that there is a BackHaul with differrent colour code(200) on the same frequency.

Can the BackHaul cause this problem…? or What could be the other reason.Spectrum is also fine.When the link is wrking the Eff. is close to 100 %


We r on p8 Hardware with Software Scheduling.

Yes, that is probably the issue. The BH power level being received at the SM is extremely high. The SM must be really close to the BH.

ok. Most of the time the AP-EVAl Data for BH shows RSSI of around 1300 .

If we align Sm in such a way that Bh RSSI reduce , then our SM also sees less strength of its own AP.!!!

What can be done…?

I would change freq on the back haul, we have several sites with 2.4 cyclone and 5.7 backhauls they run fine.

I did have a simular problem with sm losing registration, I would reboot work great for about 1 hour then they would go from 100% down to 60% then gone.

We found some else came into the area and didn’t have a cmm unit big timming issue.

They installed cmm nomore problem.
