Are there any Cambium Indoor Enterprise Access Points that have “SFP…” or “QSFP…” ports that can handle 40Gb or more?
The ability to connect these access points at 40Gb or more becomes important if we will want to utilize WIFI 7 in a crowded enterprise environment. A max 2.5G ethernet would seem to be a bottleneck for something that supposedly could do more.
A quick glance through Cambium’s enterprise wifi products seems to reveal that at most 2.5gbps copper/PoE options are the highest throughput ethernet interface available.
I’m curious have you run into bottleneck issues with existing 1gbps products for AX or even AC WiFi AP’s?
Are there any other manufacturer’s products that you can direct us to that are employing SFP+ or faster interfaces?
XV3-8 and XE5-8 have 5Gig Copper ports
