It loses ping, but does it actually drop the wireless session? Post your link test results - if it’s a wireless issue you’ll need to realign and possibly need bigger reflectors.
The other issue is it could be ethernet lockup. 8.x had many, many problems with that. Moto didn’t get the bulk of them resolved until 8.2.7. 9.4 is the current stable firmware release and it would be highly recommended to get your link up to that version.
It not drop the wireless session, only loses the ping. I’m doing ping directly from the ethernet port.
