Our customer (government institution) for legal purpose insists that we put a “banner motd” on each switch.
I can’t find that option in user guide as well command on the switch.

cnMatrix does not support custom banner. It is in the roadmap, but I will escalate its priority. Are you referring to the banner when logging into the switch via ssh/telnet?

No need for any priority for this anymore… we replaced cnmatrix with other vendor for this customer

cnMatrix is now approved for use within military applications; unsure of motd banner implementation at the moment.
MOTD banner is available in 4.4-r3
