I wanted to know if any of you guys run your SMs with NAT disabled? As we all know they dont allow VPN support or port forwarding.
I have tried this and it seems to be working. I disabled the NAT and statically assigned a public IP address to the WAN interface of my Linksys router. I set the ip address on the SM to a private, something to the affect of 192.168.100.1. This way the subnet wont interfere with the linksys router. My VPN now works fine and i can port forward with my Linksys.
Anyone else doing this?
