Is there any way to easily signal test a customer location using a Cambium SM 3.65 that’s using the SAS?
Presently we need to pre-program all customer info into the SAS ahead of any signal test… there’s no way to easily just test the receive signal as without the SAS…
You could have a generic radio configured for a fictitious location in the SAS, just for testing, though it would probably be a stretch of the rules. Tools → AP evaluation will show you the RSSI of the AP you are pointing at though, even if you don’t associate. Perhaps that is enough for a site survey?
That’s how I use it to evaluate a connection without having to enter all the CBRS BS.
