Cambium 4500c operation

Hi everyone, I’d like some clarification on the Cambium 4500c radio. This is my first time using it, and I’m very confused.

I currently have four 2x2 30-degree RF Elements horns. I’m not sure how to orient them correctly or which mode to use to get the mu-mimo mode to work. Can you give me some guidance?

4500c w/90deg horns?

I am thinking of upgrading a small tower site that currently has Airmax AC to a single 4500C w/4 90deg horns in a N/S/E/W (omni) arrangement. Any issues or quirks I should be aware of? I have never done a split sector AP before.

Now I have a clearer idea, but could the Mu Mimo potentially work if I use 4 30-degree RF element horns, pointing 2 in one area perfectly, and 2 other identical ones in another different area? Can it work like this?

I searched the forum a bit but I didn’t find any discussions about this.

I have not heard of any success stories of MU-MIMO working using 30deg horns in any configuration. Due to their narrow beamwidth, I don’t believe they can be used for MU-MIMO.
