I have 2 questions :

  1. is there any advance in the ONT Stick solution
  2. Any Plans to implement Power over Fiber ?, this can be a nice solution used for deploy multiple Security Cameras on the streets ? without depending on power UPS for ONTs and Cameras

#1 Yes, the Cambium ONT stick solution is ready to launch. You can watch Cambium marketing channel for more details.
#2 Nothing planned so far however we shall look into it based on market demand

Regarding Power over Fiber, could you clarify your requirements a bit further? Are you considering composite cables that combine conductive power and fiber in the same cable, or true PoF, where light energy transmitted via a dedicated second fiber strand powers the end devices?

PoF could be a viable solution for powering street-mounted devices like cameras and ONTs without relying on UPS systems at each location. However, factors such as power requirements, distance, and efficiency need to be carefully evaluated to determine feasibility. I’d be happy to explore this challenge further with you.
