Hello Geoffrey,
Welcome to the community!

The wifi client and the outdoor environment play a huge part in predicting coverage of these devices. The power levels allowed for both the AP and the wifi clients limit the range you can achieve. When I plan an outdoor wifi network using 802.11ac devices that these are, generally I have link budget to reach 25m in a heavily treed environment, and up to 125m or so in a wide open environment, assuming a phone is the wifi client. This also assumes a 20 MHz channel, and be able to pass 10-20 Mb/s throughput. These radios mounted outside and trying to reach inside a building do not have the mechanisms to deal with the multipath that a wifi signal generates when passing through a wall or window, so they work best outdoors to outdoor wifi clients. If you are reaching indoors, use indoor AP’s such as e410 or e600 cnPilot AP’s for best performance indoors.

I hope this answers your questions.
