Cambium New Installer App replacing cnArcher

Hi, we do a lot of FWA, i have raised a case with support and got told that the cnArcher is getting replaced with the new Installer app, all working well but! when we do a scan for out AP’s it is not coming up with our site name so the engineer have to contact support and ask what site this is. Now on the cnArcher app that we been using the site ID comes up that makes it more easier for the engineer. could it be possible to look into this or is there a fix? i want to make it a 1 touch for the engineers as i create the scrips with all our settings and security for all the SM radio’s that gets installed. All in all the app is good so far but just the site ID is going to make more work for our support guys…

@Jaco_Mostert This capability is currently missing from the new Installer app. We are looking into this now.

We are having consistent problems with the new installer app on Android. It’s always losing connection with the SM and then we have to start the process again. If we switch back to cnArcher, no problem. And if we open up a ping tool, we can always ping 169.254.1.1 suggesting it’s not a phone to SM communication problem, but a glitch with this app.

@jessearcher Are you seeing the connectivity problem when the app is trying to configure the SM? If so, we are aware of this issue and the next update will fix this.

The issue is occurring throughout the entire process.
