In order to ensure the security of your Cambium account, we require that passwords meet a certain set of rules:
- Passwords must be at least 8 characters
- Passwords should not be obvious dictionary words
- Passwords should not be an obvious keyboard pattern
- Passwords should not have appeared in any data breach
The last rule is necessary because one of the most common attacks against websites is Credential Stuffing. Attackers use lists of email addresses and passwords from previous data breaches to find other sites where users may have used the same password.
Our recommendation is to use a long randomly-generated password with a password manager.
