Our customer is currently using the PTP sync unit with Trimble GPS to sync the daisy-chained co-located PTP670 units. Our customer commented that when the PTP sync unit is failed, the PTP670 daisy-chained will lost the sync signal.
We noticed that the TX2K matrix switch can connect to cnPulse and provide Cambium Sync.
Can we recommend the TX2K as a solution to our customer to replace the PTP sync unit? Can the PTP670 accept the Cambium Sync? On the other hand, where is the sync signal coming out? Is it via the PoE port connecting to the device?
