Cambium XV APs on 6.6.2.1-r5 lose settings after reboot

We deployed approximately 300 Cambium XV2-21X APs across various branches in the country, but I’m tired of clients calling me to complain that they can’t connect to Wi-Fi. This happens whenever they reboot, possibly due to power issues. I usually temporarily solve this by removing the AP group config from that particular AP and then putting it back, but remember, there are very many, so I spend my entire day just working on those complaints. How do I solve this permanently? They are on version 6.6.2.1-r5. I tried to upgrade to version 7.1, but the issue persisted

After reboot, are they online in cnMaestro.

If yes, did you check the Radio status in cnMaestro.

  • Navigate to AP Dashboard → Details

Yes for example this AP when clients try to connect, it says cant connect, so to solve this i have to unload and reload the AP group
