Cannot select Force 180/190 as an AP?

Is there not an option to select Force 180 or 190 as an Access Point in a Hub? Only ePMP 1000 or 2000 is available. It obviously allows you to select Force 180 as a Subscriber Module, but not an AP. Am I missing something?

The Force 180 and Force 190 are not Access Points.

They certainly are. Obviously not recommended in a multipoint environment, but if you have only 1 or 2 SM's a Force 180 will work just fine as an AP. Just thought it should be available as an AP in Link Planner. Apparently not?

Hi Eric,

We have not had many (if any) requests before to support Force 180/190 as an AP. In order to put them into LINKPlanner we will need to get them into our chambers to get 3D antenna patterns measured. For use as an SM or PTP we generally only take 2D cuts of the antenna pattern.

We will investigate this with the ePMP team and see what the expected use case is.
