Canopy POE end of life :-/

I would have to agree with the frustration shown by others. I have another suggestion - color code the Ethernet only port yellow some way, as most routers have the same colored port. We purchased yellow ethernet cables to help keep this less confusing for customers. And maybe color the other port another color to differentiate the two for when techs are working with customers.

A suggestion for helping keep issues down - zip tie the power cord and power ethernet cable to the sides of the brick. This would prevent the power cable from accidentally getting unplugged, and prevent the ethernet cable from getting plugged into the other port of the power supply.

Use a different colored patch cable from the gigabyte/data port. problem solved

Problem not solved if the 75 year old customer can't SEE the labels on the brick, let alone know where the yellow cable goes and where the black cable goes! Then proceeds to pump PoE into his router!

I have resorted to plugging the cable into the data+power and clipping the release tab off flush with the brick!

The CAT5 from the radio becomes 1 with the brick!
