CC450V AP's check in

Reaching out to the Cambium Community to see how other WISPs are doing with deploying CC450V AP’s? Curious about applications, feedback, issues. All welcome.

We have one sector deployed and it’s working fine. It’s backwards compatible with all our 450 SM’s. Firmware currently supports up to 2x 40MHz carriers. Currently both carriers have to be the same size. 6GHz AFC is now supported. Performance is what you’d expect from PMP450 (max modulation of 8x aka 256QAM). The deep vc queue optimizations in upcoming firmware release R24.2 will improve throughput when using larger 30+MHz channel widths and will be a step towards supporting even larger 50+MHz channel widths. At some point a future firmware release will support additional carriers (up to 4 IIRC), and also different sized carrier channel widths (e.g carrier 1 at 20MHz and carrier 2 at 40MHz).

The 450v 4x4 SM is very large and you’ll probably need a larger/beefier satellite mount for it. It also takes a 56v 60w PoE adapter.

Cambium currently has a 450v promo going on, you can find the details here:
