Clone Policy or Read Only Template Policy Option

Hi we have some sites where we’ve got 40 odd VLANS being pushed through switch groups with minor changes between different sites.We find techs forget setting some settings or forget a vlan creating some configuration differentiation between sites.

We’d like to have the ability to have a gold or locked copy that we can clone the template from so that techs in the field can get a vetted template and don’t have to create it from scratch. This request goes for switch groups and ap groups.

Jeez can’t believe that more people wouldn’t want a function like this.Would save me weeks of work throughout the year.

Don’t think it would be too hard to implement as you would essentially just be creating a new policy and copying or importing values from the locked/master copy.
