cnHeat Path Profile feature

With release 2.4.0 users can now pull up a path profile as they check coverage for a location.

Path profiles are tied to predictions. Users will be unable to run a path profile if a prediction has not been generated in the area or if the location is beyond the extent of a prediction.

To pull up the path profile feature…

  1. Click a location on the map within range of an existing prediction.
  2. Either click the path profile icon in the Point Analysis tool or click the path profile trace on the map.

The left side of the path profile will always represent the Tower Site side of the link. The tower radio height can be selected by selecting one of the existing predictions from the drop down.

The right side of the path profile will always represent the Client (SM) side of the link. The height is defined from the SM height slider and “above ground/clutter” buttons.

Clutter shown in green is considered vegetation (i.e. trees,…), and clutter shown in gray is considered non-vegetation (i.e. buildings,…)
