Introduction
This document highlights new features and significant updates in cnMaestro Cloud.
Important: Web Browser
If you are having UI problems with the 5.0.2 update, restart your browser or clear the browser cache with a hard reload.
NSE 3000 Updates
Note: all features/enhancements listed below require NSE300 devices to be upgraded to device firmware version 1.6.
Increased Scale
Expanded capacity of NSE to support larger-scale customer deployments. The scalability improvements include:
Parameter | Old Limit | New Limit |
---|---|---|
Devices | 300 | 1000 |
Site-to-Site VPN Tunnels | 16 | 100 |
VLANs | 16 | 128 |
TCP Connections | 64K | 256K |
Wireguard Statistics
Support for WireGuard statistics, which offer comprehensive insights into user data, device types, IP addresses, status updates, upload and download speeds, and VPN types.
Enhancement to VLAN Configuration
Significant improvements to VLAN configuration. Administrators can now configure multiple VLANs with individual IP addresses, netmasks, and DHCP mode. This process reduces the workload for administrators who previously had to configure numerous VLANs manually.
RV22 Home Mesh Router Enhancements
QoS (Quality of Service) Support in the App
Additional QoS support within the cnMaestro Subscriber App, which provides precise control over bandwidth allocation, traffic shaping, and prioritization. This capability enables network performance fine-tuning by allocating bandwidth according to specific application requirements, shaping traffic streams, and establishing policies to prioritize critical application usage.
Wired Mesh Support
Wired mesh infrastructure support for the RV22 to enhance deployment flexibility. This enables incorporation into wired mesh networks for improved connectivity and performance.
Warning: Deprecation of AP Groups in the Tree Navigation
From version 5.0.2 onwards, support for AP Groups in the Tree navigation is deprecated, and this feature will be removed in version 5.2.0. Customers should use Configuration > Wi-Fi Profiles to access AP Groups.
Note:
This is a navigational change for AP Groups and does not impact AP Groups features.
