Introduction
This document highlights new features and significant updates in cnMaestro Cloud.
Important: Web Browser
Restart your browser (or clear the browser cache with a hard reload) if you have UI problems after the 5.1.1 update.
Important: Enterprise Wi-Fi AP Version
Update to the Enterprise Wi-Fi AP 6.6.1 Release Candidate build if you plan to use the MarketApps feature.
MarketApps
MarketApps help customers and end users enhance the value of their network with tailored, vertical-specific, microservices-based applications. In the future these will include Cambium Apps, User Apps, and API-based Apps from third parties. This release supports two specialized apps for MDU MSPs:
- Managed Wi-Fi App
- Self-Service Personal Wi-Fi App
Managed Wi-Fi
The Managed Wi-Fi App allows property managers to centrally administer Wi-Fi networks. It supports both community Wi-Fi networks and personal Wi-Fi networks, enabling resident control and customization.
Self-Service Personal Wi-Fi
The Self-Service Personal Wi-Fi App allows residents to manage their Wi-Fi networks independently within MDUs by creating and personalizing SSIDs for their units.
To access MarketApps, navigate to Network Services > MarketApps in cnMaestro.
Adding a New MarketApp
To add a new MarketApp, follow these steps:
Navigate to Network Services > MarketApps in cnMaestro.
Click the Add New button on the top right corner to launch the Select App Type window.
Enter a Name, Managed Account, and Application Type and click Save.
NSE 3000 Features
Starting in Release 1.7, NSE 3000 supports High Availability (HA). HA can be used to minimize downtime in the event of hardware failure. An HA pair consists of a primary and a spare device. The spare device becomes active when the primary device fails. Only one license is required for an HA pair. There are two ways to configure an HA Pair.
Establish HA Pair from the Onboarding Queue
The HA Pair can be established directly from the Onboarding Queue. As a prerequisite, a standalone Active NSE should be available in the Site and mapped to an NSE Group.
Note : Before adding the spare device to the HA pair, please ensure HA is enabled in the NSE Group. The same NSE Group will also be attached to the spare device, ensuring the configuration remains identical on both devices.
Use the serial number to claim the Spare NSE3000 device. After Clicking the “Approve Device” button, select the checkbox “Onboard as HA spare” along with other details in the pop-up window.
Click Save and Approve

Spare Device Dashboard with HA Details
Establish HA Pair Onboarding Directly into the Site
To establish an HA pair by onboarding the spare device directly into the Site, first click the three dots next to the Site name in the System Tree and select Claim Device(s).
Paste the serial number of the spare NSE device. Ensure the correct Site name is selected. The NSE Group attached to the primary device will be attached to the spare device.
Monitoring Statistics
A banner on the spare device provides a link to the active device, which displays the aggregated data.
RV22 Home Mesh Device Enhancements
Edit Email Address of Existing Subscribers
In the initial design, the email address could not be changed once created (instead, the existing Subscriber needed to be deleted). With this new option to “Change Owner,” the user can update the email address, and all configuration and settings on the app will be retained.
Users can edit an existing Subscriber’s email address by clicking on the “Change Owner” hyperlink in the Subscriber’s Basic Information tab.
Software Upgrade for PTP 670/700
Software update is now available for PTP 48670 and 48700 devices. The Software update tab is at the System/Tower/Device levels.
Note: Software version 04-10 or above is required.
Device Name Support During Bulk Import in Enterprise Site
Starting with this release, one can claim devices at the Enterprise Site by uploading a CSV file with serial numbers and device names.
Client Information Enhancements
A few columns are updated for NSE Wired/Wireless clients at the System, Enterprise Site, and NSE device levels.
Clients Under NSE
A new column Model is added under NSE > Clients.
Wireless Clients Under System and Enterprise Site Levels
The Managed Account column has been removed from the Network and Enterprise Site levels.
The Device MAC column is added at all the levels.
Renamed the AP column to Device.
Wired Clients under System and Enterprise Site Levels
Added new columns Device MAC, OS Version, Type, and Model.
Managed Account and User columns are removed.
No Removal of AP Groups Tree
Based on customer feedback, we have decided not to remove the AP Groups Tree: it will continue to be available.
Miscellaneous UI/UX Enhancements
- Removed Previous and Next buttons and added Save button like AP Groups for EasyPass.
- Added Ethernet Port Speed for Enterprise Devices in the Inventory and Statistics pages under the System and Site levels. Also added Ethernet Port Speed in CSV file while exporting inventory or statistics data.
System Level Inventory and Statistics
Site Level Inventory and Statistics
- Added Onboarding Mode column to the PON onboarding page.
- User must choose Scope field when creating Configuration Groups or Profiles – it is no longer selected as Shared by default. Below is a sample screenshot for the WLAN Profile.
- Added Actions drop-down and Export options to the Managed Subscriptions > Devices page.
The Actions dropdown lists the options below:
- Delete on Expiry
- Swap Subscriptions
- Change Subscriptions
- The Export option on the Managed Subscriptions > Devices page allows you to download the Devices Subscription data as a CSV file.
- Rearranged Configuration Options.
