cnMaestro AP and SM association issue

I have an epmp 4500L that is detached from its SM’s. The issue started when cnMaestro listed the AP as offline. The AP was online and doing well, but cnMaestro was showing otherwise.

While the AP was showing offline, the attached SM units came into to cnMaestro on their own. They weren’t attached to any AP. I tried deleting the AP from cnMaestro to see if when it came back the SM’s would reconnect. They did not.

I tried restarting a child it did not reattach. I tried deleting a child SM from cnMaestro and then approving its re adoption. After readoption, the SM came in without being connected to the AP. The Ap is running 5.11.1. The SM is running 5.11.0. Would this firmware version difference cause this issue? Is there something else going on. Has anyone else experienced this issue before?

This is the first time I’ve had this issue with our Cambium gear. I’m open to any suggestions you all may have.

We are having a similar issue with a 4600 AP and its SMs on 5.10.4 firmware in our on-prem instance
