If we change our standard config and introduce a new custom variable into a template, I want to be able to export a list of devices with their existing custom variables. I can then mass add the value for the new variable using excel (CSV) and then re-import the file without needing to go into each device and copy/paste in the value.
For example if we need to set a new custom variable, we could set a default which works perfectly fine.
Except if the default variable needs to be different for each device, we can use excel to maniupulate the cells in ways we need much faster than copy/paste.
