Post install, we update Latitude and Longitude of devices and sometimes the description. Roughly 25% of the time, when clicking Apply Configuration it appears to be ignored. There’s no error message etc in CNMaestro so we continue updating Lat/Lon of other devices. When we review the changes, the devices that have been ignored are unchanged. We can then perform the exact same actions, hit Apply Configuration and they’re updated. Quite frustrating.

When the issue occurs, does it happen for multiple devices consecutively or randomly?
Are there any noticeable delays or connectivity issues between cnMaestro and the devices during the update?

Could you please confirm the exact steps you follow when updating the Latitude/Longitude and applying the configuration?
After clicking “Apply Configuration,” do you notice any changes in the job/task status or any related entries in the cnMaestro job/Audit logs?
If possible, could you share a screenshot or snippet of the Audit Log and the device tech dumpfile when the Apply Configuration action appears ignored?
Frequency & Scope
You mentioned this happens roughly 25% of the time — does this frequency remain consistent, or has it increased/decreased recently?
Once we have this information, we can review the logs, tech dump file and identify if there’s a UI sync issue, back end communication delay, or device-level configuration handling issue.

Monitor & Manage, Click on device. Configuration.
Copy Description from a spreadsheet. Click on description field. Press HOME on keyboard, Press SHIFT & END, Press CTRL V.
Copy Latitude from Spreadsheet. Press HOME on keyboard, Press SHIFT & END, Press CTRL V.
Copy Longitude from Spreadsheet. Press HOME on keyboard, Press SHIFT & END, Press CTRL V.
Click on Apply Configuration.
I noticed that quite often the description is being updated. I’m wondering if it’s something with the browser (Google Chorme) where if I don’t click on another field it isn’t “recording” the longitude but it just isn’t consistent
I don’t have CNMaestro X so I’m not sure where Audit logs can be found?
I’ll download tech support file next time an update fails.
