cnMaestro XNFR

I have a customer who has this version of cnMaestroX. I’ve never seen this before. They want to make use of the MSP functionality, but anytime they try to add a user to the proper scope, they get an error saying the email is not a memeber of Cambium Support, or the cnMaestroX Cambium ID account.
What do I need to do for my customer to remove the NFR (which I assume is not for resale) version of this Cambium ID?

You are correct that NFR is “Not For Resale” - it’s a program for Cambium partners to get equipment and software for demonstration purposes. One of the restrictions in the NFR version of cnMaestro X is that users have to have an email address matching the partner’s email domain.

To downgrade from NFR, I think there should be a Downgrade to Essentials button on the Subscriptions page. However, they will then need to purchase appropriate cnMaestro X subscriptions in order to use the MSP feature.

To downgrade to Essentials, Navigate to Manage Subscriptions > Subscriptions and Click on Terminate X-NFR. The downgrade process may take up to 15 minutes to complete.

Is it possible to upgrade the on-premise version to an X NFR license?
I don’t see in our on-premise server the upgrade link, in contrast to our cloud instance.

Hi @OMAR_PALMA ,

Please note that NFR (Not For Resale) is only supported on the cloud version of cnMaestro. Unfortunately, X-NFR is not supported on the on-premises deployment at this time.
