Hi, i'm running last version of cnut in my laptop with win10; it's a lot of time that the "maximun concurrent update" value is ignored; at the moment the value is 4, anyway the cnut processes 20 sm(s) a time....; where could be the problem?

Maximum Concurrent Update setting is not for the SMs going under autoupdate. It cannot control the SMs under Subscriber Modules(Auto-detected) level. It only controls the update of the elements under Network Root level.
