With cnVision, is there built-in surge protection within the Hub and Client devices, or this there a recommended surge protection part number(s) that should be used with the different Hub and Client SKUs?
If you could provide a breakdown of what surge protection part number should work with what Hub/Client SKU(s) it will help with creating a complete cnVision quotes to partners.
Thanks again for your help!
I'm not sure if there is a specific document like this but I think it would look like the following. Maybe Cambium could confirm.
- HUB 360r - 56VDC input, 1 Joule integrated surge suppression, add C000000L033A (56V) for extra surge suppression
- HUB FLEXr - 30VDC input, 1 Joule integrated surge suppression, add C000000L065A (30v) for extra surge suppression
- CLIENT MAXr - 30VDC input, 1 Joule integrated surge suppression, add C000000L065A (30v) for extra surge suppression
- CLIENT MINI - 30VDC input, 1 Joule integrated surge suppression, add C000000L065A (30v) for extra surge suppression
- CLIENT MICRO - 30VDC input, 1 Joule integrated surge suppression, add C000000L065A (30v) for extra surge suppression*
*I'm assuming this one on the basis of it being built on the Force 300-13 and not the Force 300-13L.
TLDR; use the 30V Gig Surge for everything except the omni base/hub, which uses the 56V Gig surge. Just be careful because the different voltage Gig Surge's physically look the same.

To add to the list of devices, would the 56VDC be recommended for the CLIENT MAXrp?
