What happens when a cnVision solution loses power and then regains power? Does it need to be physically rebooted or does it come back without any problems? From my understading Ubitquiti needs to be physically rebooted which if cnVision does not do this that would be great.

No need to reboot it. It will power back up on its own, load up all the previous configuration and connect back up and start transmitting again. Probably about a 2 minute period.
