I have a multi-POP setup where they are not actually equal in backhaul capacity. Downstream devices are being assigned as if they were both the same but a better fit would be achieved loading way more traffic to the ‘good’ one as opposed to just assigning to the closer one.
I’m still only moving trivial amounts of data but I can imagine better flow if the system knew to load the unit with three times the capacity with more nodes even if they are closer in hops to the other one.
