We are currently using an on-premises E2E controller V1.1
The VM is running OVA: 1.0.1-r2 with Patch: 1.1.0-r1
Can we just apply the new patch for V1.2?

Thanks.
Des.

Hi @lightnet-des,

Yes we can apply v1.2 on top of v1.1. Please make sure that you follow the below steps to perform the same.

  1. Update the cnMaestro version to v3.0.4(Not applicable if cnMaestro cloud is used).
  2. Update the external e2e VM with package 1.2.0-r1 as explained here.
  3. Update the PoP device(s) with the 1.2 image
  4. Update all the other nodes with respective 1.2 image

1.2.0-r1 package and 1.2 device images can be downloaded from here.

Hi @vaa100

Thank you for the reply and details on upgrading. We ran into an issue previously where the E2E controller VM needed internet access to update to a new patch version. Is it still a requirement that the E2E needs internet access to perform the patch update?

Hi @lightnet-des

1.2.0-r1 update does not need internet access.

service ssh admin@ is broke

cnMaestro cloud still shows 1.2 as “beta” although it is now “recommended”.

Can you confirm if cnMaestro cloud is the beta version, or if it is actually the release version?

I also noticed the service ssh admin@**** not working anymore

Thanks for reporting this bug. Yes, it got broken. Apologies !!

We will fix this in 1.2.1
